Cancellation / No-Show Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you will be unable to make it to an appointment or receive service. If you provide less than 24 hours cancellation notice, you may be charged a no show fee of up to 100% of the scheduled service amount at management’s discretion. This no show fee may be fully applicable to your next completed appointment at management’s discretion. You may also be asked to make a deposit to be eligible for future appointments.

Tardy Policy

If you arrive over 15 minutes late to an appointment, your stylist may be unable to offer some or all of the services that you were scheduled for. Additionally, if your stylist is indeed able to provide the scheduled services, you may still be required to wait while the next client who arrives is serviced. If your stylist is over 15 minutes late for your appointment, please notify management by e-mail at
OR by telephone at (202)897-2150 and indicate how we can make it up to you.

Unscheduled Services Policy

If you arrive to an appointment and additional unscheduled services are required in order to move forward with scheduled services (extensions removal, hair detangling, etc…), you will be accommodated according to our Tardy Policy.

Refund Policy

In the event of a legitimate service break, we will consider refunds on a case-by-case basis. Please notify management of any refund requests by email at OR telephone at (202)897-2150 .

Service Guarantee

Our service guarantee means that if you are not completely satisfied with our service, we will correct the problem at our expense. If for some reason, we can’t correct the problem, we will
make every effort to quickly reach a mutually agreed upon resolution so everyone involved feels respected. Additionally, you must be no more than 15 minutes late for your appointment to be fully eligible for our Service Guarantee.

Unconfirmed Appointments

If you do not confirm your scheduled appointment within 24 hours of your appointment time, your appointment is subject to involuntary rescheduling or overbooking. If your appointment is overbooked, you will be accommodated according to our Tardy Policy. We will make every attempt to confirm your appointment via e-mail, SMS, and/or phone call for your convenience.

Service Provider Requests

If you have a preferred service provider, please let us know and we will do our best to honor your preference. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be serviced by a specific service provider during your appointment.

Wait List

Since Rachel Joyce Organic Salon primarily operates by appointment, certain peak days and times tend to fill up fast (Weekends, Weekday Evenings). So that we have a better chance of serving you if there is no current availability, we have an online and manual (call 202.897.2150) waiting list to help fill cancelled appointments. This waiting list operates on a first-come first-served basis, meaning that available time slots are not guaranteed to be reserved in anticipation of an appointment being scheduled.
